Warranty Information

Bonza Bike Box is proud to set the standard in bicycle transportation and protection, with all our bike boxes rigorously tested to survive the most severe impacts and whatever travelling can throw at it.

Bonza Bike Box offers a 2 year warranty against any manufacturing faults and material defects.

The 2 year warranty covers the original purchaser of the bike box. Coverage is voided if the bike box is sold or ownership is otherwise transferred. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide Bonza Bike Box with proof of original purchase.

Bonza Bike Box retains the right to decipher whether damage is caused by normal wear and tear circumstances, manufacturing defects, accident, misuse, improper care, or negligence. Bonza Bike Box also retains the right to repair or replace valid warranty claims at their discretion; refunds are not an option for valid warranty claims. Exact product replacement depends on available inventory and no guarantee is made to process warranties within a certain time frame, but we endeavour to ensure you are not without a bike box for any prolonged period.

Damage covered under warranty:

Manufacturing defectives in materials or workmanship.

Damage not covered under warranty:

Damage resulting from misuse (broken straps, latches & wheels).
Cosmetic damage (scratches or stained/ marked materials).
Incidental or consequential damages (such as damage to or loss of the contents of the bike box).
Damage caused by airlines or other transit handlers. (broken latches & wheels).*

*Damage claims in transit should be raised with the carrier.

Warranty Claims:

Bonza Bike Box requiries that you use an approved Bonza Bike Box 'Repair Centre' for all warranty repairs. Improper or incorrectly performed repairs will void this warranty. To find an approved Bonza Bike Box 'Repair Centre', please click here.

Please do not send your bike box directly to us, as this will only delay the repair. 

For warranty services, you will need to contact the approved Bonza Bike Box 'Repair Centre' to arrange collection of your bike box. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping for all returns.

Once your bike box has arrived at the 'Repair Centre' the team will determine whether or not the damage is covered by the warranty. If the warranty applies, you will be notified as to whether the bike box will be repaired or replaced. Any such repairs or replacement will be covered by Bonza Bike Box, including any costs required to return the bike box to you. Please allow up to 10 working days for a warranty claim to be processed and completed from the time 'Repair Centre' receives it; shipping times vary.

The latches on the bike box are intended only to prevent accidental opening and cannot prevent theft of the bike box or its contents, breakage or entry by airline or airport personnel. You must inspect your bike box immediately after handling by anyone other than you. If damaged during transit, you must submit a claim to the airline (which is insured against damaging your bike box) at the place of arrival, if possible, before leaving the airport.
